In 2009 some friends shared a promising idea: having an international high level event where the best pilots all over the world can compete with large scale aeromodels showing their skills in an unforgettable show-event. The name recalls to our mind the legendary competition held in Las Vegas several years ago. The name is synonymous of prestige, perfect organization and show without equal and it’s driving all of us to better results.
In the first year event more than fifteen pilots registered to the competition, unfortunately only few of them attend the race. Nevertheless our first edition, held on 10th and 11th October 2009, in the wonderful venue of the Argentario Polo Club, was a success: the numerous public, pilots, judges and the whole organization was really proud of the first ITOC.
Just some days after we decide to keep on with this amazing project and we start planning the 2010 event. It’s now scheduled for the 16th and 17th October 2010 with several novelties but granting the aim of the competition: best pilots, best judges, a wonderful location, freestyle with music and precision aerobatic flights; everything set up for a stunning event designed for the public attendance.
